Israeli Settlers Kill 14-Year-Old Student and 32-Year-Old Man in Attack on al-Mughayyir Boys School
Israeli settlers attacked al-Mughayyir Boys School east of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank on April 21, killing two Palestinians: Aws Hamdi al-Na'san, a 14-year-old student, and Jihad Marzouq Abu Na'im, 32. Their parents mourned at a Ramallah hospital as the village documented the killings. Separately, Mohammad Majdi al-Jaabari, 16, was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a ministerial security convoy near Kiryat Arba settlement in Hebron; and a 49-year-old woman died from injuries sustained during an earlier Israeli forces raid on Jenin refugee camp. Al-Mughayyir village, northeast of Ramallah, has been repeatedly targeted by settlers from nearby outposts. The attack is among the deadliest single-day settler incidents in the West Bank in 2026 and adds to the documented surge: settlers have killed 8 Palestinians in the West Bank in the first quarter of 2026 and settler violence now accounts for 75% of all displacement recorded this year.
