Drone Strike on Khan Younis Supermarket Wounds Group, Kills Hasan Takrim al-Battah

At around 13:20 on September 24, 2026, an Israeli drone fired a missile at a group of Palestinians near the al-'Abdasawi Supermarket in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, wounding five, including 42-year-old Hasan Takrim Hafez al-Battah. Al-Battah later succumbed to his wounds, becoming the fifth fatality in the Gaza Health Ministry's toll for the 24-hour reporting period that also included Jaber Kamal Meqbel and Muhannad Abu Medyin.
