Juniper Green Energy Expands Operational Renewable Portfolio to 2,689 MW Across India

| Climate Solutions

India's Juniper Green Energy announced in mid-September 2026 that it commissioned 101 MW of new wind capacity across Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan -- including a 45 MW and 40 MW wind tranche under the GUVNL Hybrid Phase I and II programs and a 10 MW tranche for Maharashtra's MSEDCL -- taking its total operational renewable portfolio to 2,689 MWp plus 503 MWh of battery energy storage. A 75 MW solar + 25 MW wind hybrid project for MSEDCL was completed roughly two months ahead of schedule. The company commissioned 601 MWp of renewable capacity (458 MWp solar, 143 MW wind) plus about 400 MWh of storage in the first quarter of its FY27 alone, and holds a broader pipeline exceeding 11 GW across operational, under-construction, contracted and awarded projects, part of the wave of corporate renewable buildout underpinning India's push past 50% non-fossil installed power capacity in 2026.
