Rinker Lake Complex Remapped to 307,271 ha as NW Ontario's Active Fire Count Falls to 47

A remapping update raised Thunder Bay 36 to 307,271 hectares (from 301,240 ha) 'due to more effective remapping' rather than new growth, per Ontario Forest Fires. The Rinker Lake Complex now includes Thunder Bay 54 (7,390 ha, newly delineated after part of Dryden 35 was reclassified), Dryden 34 (44,954 ha) and Dryden 35 (22,461 ha), putting the combined complex near 382,000 hectares — still not under control, though activity has stayed low. Separately, Northwestern Ontario's active fire count fell to 47 as of Sept 10, down from 62 on Sept 3, with no new starts confirmed over the prior three days and six fires declared out.
