Okanagan Indian Band Rescinds Evacuation Order for Newport Beach and Logan's Landing

OKIB lifted the remaining Bradley Creek fire evacuation order for Newport Beach, Logan's Landing, and one property northwest of 11819 Westside Road. Returning residents were advised to use caution for lingering hazards — smoke, soot and ash — and to check for structural damage, damaged trees, downed power lines and sharp debris even where homes were not directly damaged.
