ARIRANG World Tour Projected to Gross $1.8 Billion — Stanford Stadium Debut Three Days Away
On May 13, 2026 — Day 4,717 since BTS's debut — StarNews Korea reports that the ARIRANG World Tour is now projected to gross approximately $1.8 billion across 79 shows in 34 regions, which would rank it among the highest-grossing concert tours in music history. BTS is in transit to the San Francisco Bay Area for three sold-out shows at Stanford Stadium (May 16, 17, and 19). The group will become only the second musical act to ever perform at the 50,000-capacity venue, after Coldplay. On the Billboard charts, 'SWIM' rebounds to No. 1 on the Billboard Global (Excl. US) chart and holds No. 2 on the Global 200, while five BTS albums chart simultaneously on the World Albums chart. The $1.8B projection comes on the heels of HYBE's record Q1 2026 revenue of ~$478M — largely driven by ARIRANG World Tour merchandise, streaming, and Weverse subscriptions. After Stanford, the tour advances to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas (May 23–28) alongside the 'BTS: The City Arirang' citywide festival.
