BTS Rest Day Post-Mexico City — Stanford Stadium Debut Confirmed (May 16–19); Mexico City Run Generates $107.5M Economic Impact
May 12, 2026 is a rest and travel day for BTS following the conclusion of their historic three-night Mexico City run at Estadio GNP Seguros (May 7, 9, 10). Music Times reports the Mexico City leg attracted approximately 150,000 fans across three nights and generated an estimated $107.5 million economic impact on the city — the largest K-pop economic footprint on any Latin American city in history. BTS's next confirmed tour dates are three sold-out shows at Stanford Stadium in Stanford, California: May 16, 17, and 19. BTS becomes only the second musical act to perform at the 50,000-capacity stadium, following Coldplay. The group's Silicon Valley area debut is generating major attention in Northern California. After Stanford, the tour advances to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for four nights (May 23, 24, 27, 28), alongside the 'BTS: The City Arirang' citywide festival running May 20–31 on the Las Vegas Strip, managed via Weverse.
