ARIRANG World Tour Projected to Gross $1.8B — BTS En Route to Stanford Stadium Debut (May 16–19)
May 13, 2026 is Day 4,717 since BTS's June 13, 2013 debut — a travel day as the group moves from Mexico City to the San Francisco Bay Area ahead of their historic Stanford Stadium shows. StarNews Korea reports on May 13 that the ARIRANG World Tour is now projected to gross approximately $1.8 billion across its 79 global shows in 34 regions — a figure that would rank among the highest-grossing concert tours in music history. On the Billboard charts for the week of May 16, 'SWIM' rebounds to No. 1 on the Billboard Global (Excl. US) chart and holds at No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200, continuing its historic multi-week run. Five BTS albums chart simultaneously on the Billboard World Albums chart. ARIRANG holds at No. 7 on the Billboard 200. A KQED fan logistics guide published ahead of the Stanford shows notes all three nights (May 16, 17, and 19) are sold out; gates open at 4:30 PM, shows at 7:00 PM, with a strict clear-bag policy. Stanford Stadium (50,000 capacity) will become only the second venue ever to host BTS in this configuration — the group will be only the second musical act ever to perform there, following Coldplay. After Stanford, the ARIRANG World Tour advances to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas for four nights (May 23, 24, 27, 28) alongside the 'BTS: The City Arirang' citywide festival (May 20–31) on the Las Vegas Strip.
