Santa Cruz Moto-Taxi Federations Call Off Planned Indefinite Blockade After Overnight YPFB Talks
Seven moto-taxi federations across Santa Cruz department had set an indefinite blockade for 9:00 a.m. Sept. 11 at 13+ points — Warnes, Satélite Norte, Doble Vía La Guardia, Cotoca, Pailón, Cuatro Cañadas, San Julián, Guarayos, San Javier, Concepción, La Guardia, Samaipata and Mairana — demanding regular fuel supply, no price increases, outstanding compensation payments and resolution of pending YPFB cylinder paperwork. After overnight talks with Hydrocarbons Minister Marcelo Blanco and YPFB, federation leaders called off the blockade, but organizers described it as a "recess" rather than a resolution and set Oct. 10 as their checkpoint to reassess.
