Joint Police-Military Operation on Route 9

A joint operation of 900 police officers and 100 soldiers attempted to clear Route 9 between Santa Cruz and Trinidad. The four-hour operation left 6 officers and 14 protesters injured, including 4 hit by gunfire, before security forces withdrew and protesters retook their positions.
