Normalistas Block Bucareli Avenue During Dialogue with Interior Ministry

Students from the Raúl Isidro Burgos Rural Normal School (Ayotzinapa) held a dialogue session with officials from Mexico's Secretariat of Interior (Gobernación) in Mexico City, simultaneously blocking traffic on Bucareli Avenue to amplify their demands. The students demanded justice for the 43 disappeared normalistas alongside school-level demands including jobs for graduates and support for agricultural and livestock operations. The following day (April 17), graduates blocked several lanes of the Autopista del Sol at Parador del Marqués, reproaching Guerrero state authorities for failing to honor prior commitments on educational support.
