Families Reject Iguala Funeral Home Investigation Line as 'Incoherent'
Tlachinollan Human Rights Center published a statement on behalf of the families of the 43 declaring the new government investigative line — focused on an Iguala funeral home and crematorium (owners arrested March 23, 2026) — was 'incoherent' and reminiscent of the discredited 'historical truth.' Families said they left government briefings with 'more questions than answers' and could not verify whose remains were allegedly held at the facility for years. GIEI reintegration remained the primary unresolved demand.
