Sheinbaum Publicly Rejects US Tariff Policy

President Sheinbaum told reporters at her morning press conference, 'We haven't agreed with the tariffs... nor has virtually any other country, because we believe there are other mechanisms... to strengthen one economic region relative to another,' reiterating Mexico's preference for negotiation over confrontation while pushing back on US framing of the dispute.
