Russia Strikes Kyiv and Odesa for Seventh Consecutive Night, Injuring at Least 27
Russia launched drones and ballistic missiles at Kyiv and Odesa overnight into September 3, the seventh consecutive night of sustained bombardment of the capital. In Kyiv, an attack injured 10 people, including six medical personnel, sparked a fire, and badly damaged a high-rise residential building, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said. In Odesa, a Russian strike hit a 21-story residential building, injuring 17 people including three children and damaging 20 apartments on floors 10 through 17 along with 12 parked cars, according to Ukraine's National Police. Western Ternopil Oblast was also targeted. Russian jet-powered and standard attack drones were used alongside ballistic missiles in the barrage.
