Russian Drone Strikes Ammunition Depot Near Kyiv, Killing 37 — Deadliest Attack of 2026

A Russian Geran-4 attack drone struck a Ukrainian military ammunition depot in the village of Myla, roughly 5 km west of Kyiv along the Kyiv-Chop highway (Bucha district, Kyiv Oblast), at approximately 20:10 local time on August 28, triggering successive detonations of shells, mines, and other munitions.
