Russian Aerial Bombs Kill 5, Trap Children Under Rubble in Oleksandrivka, Donetsk Oblast

Russian aircraft dropped four aerial bombs on Oleksandrivka, Kramatorsk Raion, Donetsk Oblast, around 10:00 on September 23. Regional administration head Vadym Filashkin said the death toll rose to 5 killed and 6 wounded, including a child born in 2021; seven people, including two children born in 2024 and 2025, were reported trapped under rubble as search-and-rescue operations continued. The strike destroyed an apartment building and damaged 11 more apartment buildings, 42 private homes, a kindergarten, a shop, an administrative building and six vehicles.
