Ukrainian Drone Strikes Kill 4 Across Crimea, Bryansk, Belgorod and Saratov Regions

| Ukraine War

Overnight Ukrainian drone strikes on September 8 killed at least 4 people and injured 18 across Russian-occupied Crimea and three Russian regions: 2 killed near Simferopol in Crimea, 1 killed and 3 wounded at a gas station in Starodub, Bryansk Oblast, 1 killed and 4 injured across Belgorod Oblast, and 10 injured (including 3 children) in residential areas of Saratov Oblast, where strikes also hit a Rosneft-operated oil refinery. Russia's Defense Ministry said it intercepted 384 Ukrainian drones overnight. The strikes came the same day Russia launched its mass barrage on Kyiv, underscoring that both sides continued mutual attacks after the three-day capitals truce tied to the Witkoff-Kushner diplomatic visit expired.
