| Ukraine War

Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff confirmed a missile strike on the main and reserve command posts of Russian forces near temporarily occupied Donetsk, launched on August 26 and confirmed overnight into August 27. Cruise missiles struck an underground parking area of an unfinished residential complex — reportedly hit by six missiles, per OSINT analysts CyberBoroshno — and the buildings of the former UkrStateNDIplastmas research institute. Ukrainian OSINT group Exilenova+ assessed that a command post of Russia's 51st Guards Combined Arms Army may have been located at one of the affected sites.
