Russian Guided Bombs Strike Izium, Kharkiv Region, Damaging 20 Homes

Russian forces struck residential areas of Izium in Kharkiv Oblast with three guided aerial bombs around 04:05 on August 23, wounding at least two people (Ukrinform later put the toll at four injured) and damaging roughly 20 houses, vehicles, and power lines. One bomb hit the northern part of the city, damaging about 10 houses; two further strikes hit the Verkhnie Selyshche neighborhood, sparking an outbuilding fire and damaging another 10 houses. It was the latest in a string of guided-bomb strikes on Izium through August, following an August 16 attack that injured five.
