Russian Drone Strike Kills Two in Zaporizhzhia Gardening Community

A Russian drone struck a gardening community in the Zaporizhzhia district on August 17, killing a 43-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman and sparking a fire, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration. A separate drone struck a vehicle carrying bread to the nearby village of Bilenke, also in Zaporizhzhia district. The strikes were part of a broader wave of 1,158 Russian attacks on 59 settlements across Zaporizhzhia region over the preceding 24 hours, which killed two and injured four.
