PURSUE Tranche 3 Released — 72 Files Including FBI Orb Footage and Western US 'Non-Threatening' Incident
The Department of War published its third PURSUE release on war.gov/UFO: 72 records (53 PDFs, 10 images, 6 videos, 3 audio files) drawn from the FBI (29), CIA, Department of War (12), NASA (11), and other Intelligence Community sources. The centerpiece is a two-day October 2023 event at a sensitive Western US site, including five sworn witness narratives, an AARO case-analysis update signed by AARO Director Jon Kosloski (dated June 5, 2026), a site map, and digital reconstructions of an orange 'mother' orb launching smaller red orbs — the report states roughly 40% of the documented phenomena remain unresolved but characterizes the incident as non-threatening. Also released: FBI-authenticated footage of orb phenomena in the northeastern US (2021–2025), a July 2008 CIA report on a UFO sighting above Harare International Airport, Zimbabwe, and over two hours of Apollo 16 mission-debrief audio referencing an 'alien starbase.' A DoW spokesperson said the disclosure site has received over 1.7 billion hits worldwide since its May 8, 2026 launch and that additional files will continue on a rolling basis.
