Thailand Stresses Vigilance as Cambodia Reinforces Khok Sung Positions

ACM Prapas Sornchaidee, director of the Joint Information Center on the Thailand-Cambodia Situation, said Thailand remains on alert and is closely monitoring the border after Cambodian forces reinforced positions in Khok Sung district of Sa Kaeo province, opposite Ban Nong Chan village, amid heightened tensions. The JIC, established in January 2026, continues to track troop movements while stressing adherence to the December 27 ceasefire's agreed deployment lines.
