JIC Chief Inspects Ta Kwai Temple, Reports Cambodian Tank and Troop Buildup

ACM Prapas Sornchaidee inspected Ta Kwai Temple and Hill 350 in Surin's Phanom Dong Rak district, reporting roughly 10 Cambodian tanks positioned 3-4km behind forward positions and troop assembly points about 2km from the Thai line, alongside intermittent Cambodian drone activity near the temple. He cited four Cambodian battalions (~500 personnel each) previously pushed back by Thai forces and alleged fortified bunkers financed by Chinese and Cambodian business interests. Officials said mines remain beyond the Thai perimeter, with three military dogs triggering a mine roughly a week earlier. Prapas said: 'We can be strong without provoking,' stressing Thailand's commitment to sovereignty within international law.
