EU Ambassador Assaulted, US Convoy Fired Upon

EU Ambassador Aidan O'Hara was assaulted at his Khartoum home where he sheltered during fighting. The EU condemned the attack as 'a gross violation of the 1961 Vienna Convention.' A US diplomatic convoy was also fired upon; Secretary of State Blinken called the attack 'reckless.' Gen. al-Burhan declared the RSF a 'rebel group' and ordered its nationwide dissolution.
