SpaceX Rolls Crew-13 Dragon 'Grace' to Pad 40 Ahead of Oct 1 ISS Launch

SpaceX rolled the Crew Dragon 'Grace' spacecraft out to Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station on September 25, 2026, six days ahead of Crew-13's targeted October 1 liftoff at 11:10am EDT (backup October 2, 10:47am EDT). Grace previously flew the Crew-4 mission; the Falcon 9 booster is on its third flight, having launched Crew-12 and one Starlink mission, and will attempt a Landing Zone 40 recovery after stage separation. Crew-13 will carry NASA astronauts Jessica Watkins (Commander) and Luke Delaney (Pilot), CSA astronaut Joshua Kutryk, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Sergey Teteryatnikov to the ISS, docking at Harmony's forward port around 8pm EDT to join Expedition 75. It is SpaceX's 13th operational Dragon crew rotation mission. The crew is scheduled to travel to Kennedy Space Center on September 26 following quarantine at Johnson Space Center.
