Starlink 10-24 Launches 1,000th Starlink Satellite of 2026 — B1080's 26th Flight

| SpaceX

SpaceX launched Starlink Group 10-24 on April 14, 2026, at 5:23 a.m. EDT (09:23 UTC) from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida, deploying 29 Starlink V2 Mini satellites to low Earth orbit. The mission carried special significance: it marked the deployment of the 1,000th Starlink satellite launched by SpaceX in 2026 alone — reaching that milestone in just the first quarter of the year. The Falcon 9 first stage booster was B1080 flying for the 26th time, making it one of the most-flown boosters in the fleet. Prior missions for B1080 included Axiom Mission 2, Axiom Mission 3, and CRS-30. Following main engine cutoff and stage separation, B1080 executed a flawless entry burn and landing on the Atlantic autonomous drone ship 'Just Read the Instructions' (JRTI) approximately 8.5 minutes after liftoff. This landing marked the 598th total Falcon booster recovery in SpaceX history. The Starlink 10-24 mission was SpaceX's 46th orbital launch of 2026, continuing the company's historic pace of approximately one launch every 2.5 days. The 29 satellites deployed one hour after liftoff, joining the growing Gen2 Starlink broadband constellation.
