SNA 61st Battalion Clears Eight Villages in Sablaale District Sweep Operation

The Somali National Army's 61st Battalion, under Col. Jamaal Cilmi Aadan, conducted a clearing operation across eight villages in Sablaale district, Lower Shabelle (Faytaan, Sadex, Aqab, Wabi Goof, Buula Doon, Baroodooy, Xaliima and Yaalo), destroying Al-Shabaab hideouts. No casualties or arrests were reported, and the claims were not independently verified, but the operation followed the prior two days' AFRICOM strikes and Danab raid in the same district.
