Day 781: Three More Bodies Found Across Culiacán — Lázaro Cárdenas, Tierra Blanca and Eldorado Highway

Three additional bodies were found in separate locations across Culiacán on Saturday, September 12, 2026. In the Lázaro Cárdenas neighborhood, a man identified as José Luis 'N' was found wrapped in transparent plastic with gunshot wounds near a vandalized property. In Tierra Blanca, a second man was found with his head covered in plastic; he had not been identified for lack of documents. On the Culiacán–Eldorado highway at the El Quemadito junction, a man was found dead with his hands bound. State investigative police processed each scene; no arrests were announced. The three deaths brought Culiacán's toll for the day to four, part of a wider wave of ten homicides recorded across Sinaloa state on the eve of a peace march marking two years of the Chapitos–Mayos war.
