Russia Launches Massive Drone-Missile Strike on Ukraine

Russian forces launched one of April's largest combined strikes: 47 missiles and 619 drones against Ukraine overnight April 24–25, primarily targeting Dnipro City and Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. At least 6 civilians were killed and 47 wounded across eight Ukrainian regions. It was the fourth strike of over 500 combined strike vehicles in April 2026, reflecting an intensified pace of long-range bombardment. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted the majority of the projectiles but could not prevent all impacts.
