Russia Continues Ground Pressure Near Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad

Russian forces recorded advances near Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad in Donetsk Oblast on April 27–28, continuing weeks of grinding offensive pressure on the strategically important logistics hub of Pokrovsk. On April 28, 226 combat engagements were recorded over 24 hours, with Russia deploying 76 airstrikes, 247 guided aerial bombs, 6,251 kamikaze drones, and 2,283 shelling attacks against Ukrainian positions and populated areas. Ground advances during April 21–28 were recorded in or near 10 distinct Ukrainian settlements.
