PTI Leaders Denied Access to Imran Khan at Adiala Jail Despite IHC Order
A PTI delegation of six leaders — including Seemabia Tahir, Usman Jora, and Malik Yasir Patwali — arrived at Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi, on June 4 for a court-authorized meeting with jailed party founder Imran Khan. Jail authorities refused entry, citing a pending approval notification, and the delegation waited from 2 p.m. until the 4 p.m. cutoff without being admitted. The Islamabad High Court had previously ordered twice-weekly meetings on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Earlier that week, Imran's sister Aleema Khan had also been denied entry on June 1. PTI leadership indicated it would file a contempt of court petition, citing systematic obstruction of court orders.
