Only 40% of Mandated Aid Trucks Entered Gaza; UN Agency Shipments Suspended

| October 7

As of early April 2026, only 38,358 of 94,800 allocated trucks had entered Gaza since the October 10, 2025 ceasefire — just 40% of the agreed amount. Israel's COGAT suspended all UNDP shipments on March 25 after discovering engine oil (a prohibited dual-use item) in UNDP crates, and had separately suspended UNICEF shipments on March 18 after finding smuggled tobacco products. Meanwhile, OCHA documented rodent infestations spreading across displacement sites and urgent unmet needs for shelter, water, and sanitation. The Gaza Government Media Office had documented at least 2,073 Israeli ceasefire violations, 750 of which involved shootings at civilians.
