IDF Drone Strike Kills One in Khan Younis; Disputed Shejaiya Deaths

Palestinian media reported one person killed in an IDF drone strike in Khan Younis on March 28, 2026, during the ongoing ceasefire. Separately, two brothers were killed in the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City. The IDF stated it had no active operations in the Shejaiya area at the time and suggested the deaths may have resulted from a Palestinian-on-Palestinian armed altercation. Gaza ceasefire monitoring groups counted this among thousands of alleged Israeli violations since October 10, 2025. As of mid-March 2026, the Gaza Government Media Office had documented at least 2,073 Israeli ceasefire violations resulting in 713 Palestinian deaths since the ceasefire's start.
