UN Alarmed by Kyauktaw Airstrike as Toll Reaches 50; Arakan Army Vows Retaliation

The UN said it was alarmed by reports that the Sept 28 Myanmar military airstrike on Kyauktaw's wholesale market in Rakhine State killed about 50 people and wounded dozens, many critically. The Arakan Army, which controls the town, said it will take effective retaliatory measures against those responsible.
