Institute of Chin Affairs Reports 1,300+ Killed in Chin State Since Coup

The Institute of Chin Affairs reported that more than 1,300 civilians and resistance fighters have been killed in Chin State since the February 2021 coup through August 2026. Airstrikes accounted for 482 of those deaths, including 306 civilians, among them 45 children under age 10.
