Jet-Powered Geran-4 Crashes Near Brănești, Orhei District; Moldova Confirms Wreckage

Moldovan authorities confirmed that a jet-powered Russian Geran-4 drone entered Moldovan airspace around 20:45 on September 30 and crashed after colliding with trees near Brănești, Orhei district. Law enforcement recovered rear-wing sections with Geran-4 markings, electronic modules and propulsion parts including a heat-damaged jet engine. The main crater was about 50 cm across and 30 cm deep, with two smaller craters about 15 m away; trees were damaged within roughly 30 m and fragments scattered across about 120 m. This was a separate evening incident from the morning Hîrbovăț crash the same day.
