MH17 Families Advocate Piet Ploeg Awarded Royal Knighthood

Piet Ploeg, chairman of the MH17 victims' families foundation (Stichting MH17) and the leading public voice for the 298 families, is appointed Knight in the Order of Orange-Nassau during the Netherlands' King's Birthday honours. Ploeg lost his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew in the crash and has spent over a decade driving accountability proceedings including the Hague trial and ECHR litigation.
