Massive Israeli Detonation in Khiam Damages Marjayoun School, Blacks Out Three Districts

A powerful Israeli military detonation in Khiam overnight (Sep 22–23) sent a shockwave across the surrounding area, breaking windows and cracking walls in Jdeidet Marjayoun and Qlayaa and damaging the Marjayoun National School badly enough that its administration suspended classes to replace shattered windows. The blast also caused a complete power blackout across the Hasbaya, Shebaa and Arqoub districts. No casualties were reported.
