Israel Demolishes Ali al-Taher Tunnel Network, Triggering 4.1-Magnitude Tremor

The Israeli military detonated roughly 1,100 tons of explosives to destroy an extensive Hezbollah tunnel network built over two decades beneath the Ali al-Taher ridge in Nabatieh, which Israel seized 'operational control' of on Sep 5. The blast, which Netanyahu later called a 'massive victory,' triggered a tremor equivalent to a 4.1-magnitude earthquake and destroyed command centers, weapons stockpiles and living quarters that Israel says were built with Iranian assistance.
