Israeli Strike Kills Newlywed Woman in Arab Salim, Wounds Six

| Lebanon

An Israeli airstrike hit a house in the southern town of Arab Salim (Nabatieh district), killing a woman who Lebanon's National News Agency said had been married for 48 hours; her home was destroyed. Lebanon's Ministry of Health said six people were wounded in the strikes, including a child, a woman, and two elderly people. The Israeli military said it targeted Hezbollah 'weapon storage facilities' in response to Hezbollah launching two explosive drones overnight at Israeli soldiers operating on the Ali al-Taher ridge; Israeli forces shot down one of the drones. Israeli strikes and demolitions also hit Nabatieh al-Fawqa, Kfar Rumman, al-Mansouri, Mayfadoun, Zawtar al-Sharqiyeh, and Mays al-Jabal overnight.
