Israeli Drone Strike Kills Three Near School in Gaza City's Tuffah Neighborhood

An Israeli combat drone struck a group of people near a cafe close to Muscat School in the al-Mashahra area of the Tuffah neighborhood, northeast Gaza City, on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, killing two instantly and wounding three others, including a child; a third victim, identified as Adham Sobhi Ziyara, later died of his wounds. Gaza's Health Ministry said Israeli fire killed five Palestinians and wounded 25 more across the Strip over the preceding 24 hours, putting the toll since the October 2025 ceasefire at 1,399 killed and 4,863 wounded. The IDF did not immediately comment on the individual strike.
