Settlers Overturn Palestinian Vehicle, Injure Five Near al-Mughayyir

A group of Israeli settlers stormed the Marj Si area between the villages of al-Mughayyir and Abu Falah, northeast of Ramallah, on August 20, 2026, intercepting a vehicle carrying several Palestinians. The settlers attacked the vehicle, causing it to overturn, then assaulted its passengers. Five Palestinians were wounded — identified as Musa Abu Alia, Lafi Abu Naim, Mustafa Abu Alia, Mukhlis Abu Alia, and his sister — with the Palestinian Red Crescent separately reporting six wounded in the same wave of attacks on the village. Several of the injured were taken to hospital while others were treated at the Abu Falah Medical Center. The attack came amid an ongoing escalation of settler violence against Palestinians and their property in villages northeast of Ramallah, compounding raids and attacks by Israeli occupation forces in the same area.
