West Bank Settler Attacks: Stone-Throwing in Beita, Knife Attack in Qusra, Farmland Damage near Hebron

| Israel-Palestine

Multiple settler attacks struck West Bank Palestinian communities on May 30, 2026. In Beita, south of Nablus, settlers threw stones and smashed windows of Palestinian vehicles overnight; security camera footage showed five individuals in dark hoodies carrying clubs. In Qusra, also south of Nablus, a Palestinian was lightly wounded in a settler knife attack. In Khirbet el-Muraq in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, settlers damaged farmland and olive trees. The incidents reflect the ongoing surge in West Bank settler violence, which OCHA documents at an average of 27 incidents per month in early 2026 — up from 2 per month in 2020. UN OHCHR reported 122 Palestinians killed in the West Bank in April 2026, including 22 children and 8 women, the highest monthly toll since documentation began.
