US, Israeli and Arab Military Chiefs Hold Secret Meeting in Germany on Iran War, Houthi Escalation

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir met secretly in Germany with military chiefs from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Jordan and Egypt, in a conference organized by CENTCOM commander Adm. Brad Cooper -- the first such gathering of its kind since the US and Israel began the war against Iran more than six months ago. The US briefed participants on plans to expand commercial ship traffic through the Strait of Hormuz; Zamir briefed the group on IDF operations across multiple fronts; and commanders discussed the war with Iran, the Houthi advance in Yemen, and closer regional security cooperation. Israeli officials said Israel and Saudi Arabia, facilitated by CENTCOM, are exploring intelligence-sharing and surveillance support for Saudi operations against the Houthis.
