US War Cost Estimated at $890M+ Per Day; Total May Exceed $10B

CNN analysts estimate the conflict is costing the United States at least $890 million per day, if not more. The Center for American Progress estimated the total at $5 billion by March 3 (Day 4); the Center for Strategic and International Studies placed the first 100-hour cost at $3.7 billion. With the conflict now in its second week, total US expenditure is projected to have surpassed $10 billion.
