US forces have struck nearly 2,000 targets in Iran since the start of Operation Epic Fury, eliminating top Iranian officials including the former Supreme Leader. Strikes have hit nuclear facilities, military infrastructure, and critical civilian infrastructure such as oil refineries. Both the US and Israel now claim to control Iranian airspace. Airwars war monitor previously noted strikes were occurring at a pace 'far surpassing other recent conflicts.'
