350 Elite SOG Commandos Deployed to J&K Forests Amid LOC Alert

India's Jammu and Kashmir Police deployed 350 elite Special Operations Group (SOG) personnel — trained in jungle and mountain warfare — across forest zones in J&K to hunt militants and curb infiltration. The deployment came as intelligence reports flagged active terrorist launch pads across the LOC and concerns over imminent push attempts. Multiple infiltration attempts had already been foiled in Nowshera, Uri, and Bhimber Gali sectors earlier in March.
