ICE Moves to Expand LexisNexis Data Access With Deeper Palantir Integration in $6.7M Sole-Source Contract
ICE published a notice of intent on August 10, 2026 to award LexisNexis Risk Solutions a sole-source bridge contract worth an estimated $6.7 million, covering a seven-month base period plus five one-month options. The contract would preserve ICE's enterprise access to LexisNexis's Accurint Virtual Crime Center and LexID identity-resolution technology — a commercial database covering more than 82 billion records — while expanding how that data can be queried, combined, and piped into Palantir and other analytical systems used by up to 11,200 authorized ICE users. The notice describes ICE's technical direction toward a 'substantially larger Palantir environment' that would incorporate AI-driven behavioral identity inference and expanded facial recognition capability.
