Swift & Company Meatpacking Raids (Operation Wagon Train)

ICE executes simultaneous raids on six Swift & Company meatpacking plants in six states (Colorado, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, Texas, Utah), arresting 1,297 workers suspected of identity theft and immigration violations. At the time, it was the largest worksite enforcement action in U.S. history. Hundreds of U.S. citizens who had their identities stolen were also identified.
