IDF Strike Kills Hamas Finance Chief Muhammad Abu Alwan and Osama Abu Khater in Khan Younis

A joint IDF and Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) strike hit a vehicle in the Al-Mawasi area of western Khan Younis, southern Gaza, on September 23, 2026, killing 33-year-old Mohammad Ibrahim Mohammad Abu Alwan, a Rafah resident, and Osama Khaled Mohammad Abu Khater, of Bani Suheila; two more were wounded.
